We are a community of storytellers who are endlessly curious about the elusive nature of existence. We are sailors of abstract seas, navigating the multiplicity of human experiences on our quest for new and different perspectives.
We are seeking those who can tap into that infinite well of creativity and produce content that is authentically human— vulnerabilities and all. We are offering the opportunity to join our borderless team of artists who live to create for the sake of creation. Position
As we dive deeper into our ethos, our very core, of discovering our inner utopia, MOTI is seeking an experienced Producer who has produced animation shorts either commercially or as a passion project. Our ideal candidate, whom we call Producer of Kōan, should already have a hand at writing, directing or producing content in/around philosophical, metaphysical, anthropological, artistic and/or psychedelic topics.
Wait.. what is Kōan?
"What is the sound of one hand?"
Kōan, mostly associated/used in Zen Buddhism, are riddles, questions or paradoxical anecdotes that demonstrate the inadequacy of logical reasoning hence provoking the understanding of humanity.
As all of MOTI’s content aim to offer perspectives and not enforce beliefs, to question answers and not answer questions, and to experience but not for gains, the notion of Kōan transcends any single religion, and is refined as nonsensical or paradoxical questions to anyone for which an answer is required- with the outcome of further meditating on the subject often being enlightenment.
That said, MOTI is inviting applicants from around the world to submit their candidacy for these not-your-typical Producer positions- with the sole mission of producing their unique animated short(s) as part of a bigger series named Kōan.
