Tink Labs Global Communications Manager
We are seeking a Global Communications Manager who is an experienced and passionate communications professional able to lead the development and implementation of strategy in close collaboration with the management team, effectively inform and promote the Tink Labs brand, people, mission and the product. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all external and internal communications to increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing, lead and executing effective communication and media relations programs at a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop a global PR strategy, goals, budget and tactics in alignment with the firm’s business development goals
- Promote the company mission and create strategies to increase employee awareness and promote productivity
- Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
- Develop plans, content and presentations at organisational events and announcements, such as internal newsletter and ongoing town hall meetings
- Act as the primary media contact for corporate communications, image and crisis management
- Collaborate with external PR agencies to develop and implement a comprehensive media strategy in alignment with the firm’s strategic business development goals
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
- Create content for external communications including briefing documents, press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
- Monitor, report, analyze and communicate PR results on a regular basis
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships on an ongoing basis
- Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency, is a minimum.
- Proven working experience in public relations required, preferred experience in an PR or marketing agency
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at a regional level
- Strong relationships with both local and regional business and industry media outlets
- Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
- Strong oral and interpersonal communications skills; exceptional writing and editing skills
- Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and aptitude for immediately developing a highly organized approach to managing multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
