Studio Soraya Limited is an architectural and interior design studio founded by British architect Soraya Somarathne. Her vision is cross-cultural design. She likes to study local craftsmen, materials and construction techniques and together find new ways to apply them to modernist design principles.
Soraya Somarathne studied architecture at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. She went on to work for Foster + Partners in Hong Kong. Soraya’s interest in cross-cultural design comes from her own background which combines British, Sri Lankan and Malaysian tradition and heritage.
