We are currently looking for a head of office, responsible for managing a team of two (team expected to grow in the coming months). This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting business where the successful candidate will be able to make a real impact.
WHAT YOU WILL DO/ RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be managing a team of 2 product managers and liaising with the directors in Luxembourg on a weekly basis. The team should grow in the coming months, the role involves hiring for new positions and optimizing the team’s organization. Due to the nature of the business (mostly online sales), this role requires experience, knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing operations for e-commerce.
Strategy Lead and Project management:
- Creation of growth plan, allocation of budget and KPIs for the team
- Ensuring project deadlines, budgets, launch dates, deliverables, customer expectations and company goals are all met. Leading the various projects simultaneously
- Overseeing the work of our various partners: agencies, freelancers etc. This requires a basic understanding of:
- Influencer approach o Community management (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn…)
- SEO and SEM strategy
- Blog strategy
- Working on continuous improvement of processes within the company
- Digging into our different databases/sources to help the team with analytical and strategical decisions, crunching numbers for strategic decision-making.
- Assure quality in deliverables by reviewing the team’s work and giving constructive feedback
- You should be passionate about the products, keep expanding product knowledge and spotting market trends and opportunities. Make sure all options are explored and come with ideas and suggestions to drive the business.
Sales:
- Helping to maintain the relationship and close new deals with distributors or corporate partners
- Analysing sales data and channel information and create plans to improve product growth
- Maintaining a close relationship with top partners and affiliates, to understand market, get feedback, ideas…
Operations:
- Basic understanding of accounting and logistics for organization and supervision of operations
WHAT TO BRING:
- As we’re a growing company, success in this role requires a combination of strategic as well as tactical day-to-day operational expertise.
- Excellent project management experience, being able to plan milestones, prioritize resources, and allocate tasks, alongside maintaining the central vision of the products and making stuff happen
- Ability to turn ideas into action with timeline and KPIs, and organize team work
- Deadline-driven and a strong growth mindset
- Analytical mindset and ability to synthesize.
- Excellent communication skills and written / verbal English language skills
- Bilingual in French
- College Degree or Associate Degree in marketing, sales, communications, business or any related discipline
- Expertise in the education, health or tech industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of Hubspot CRM is a plus
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
