Description

Retykle is Asia’s largest online consignment store for buying and selling designer baby, children's & maternity fashion, gear and toys. Our mission is to make buying and selling high quality pre-loved items as good, if not better than buying new. We carry over 2500 of the world’s best children’s and maternity brands at a fraction of traditional prices - up to 90% off. For sellers, we take the hassle out of resale. We allow parents to turn their kids' closets into cash without lifting a finger. The platform started in Hong Kong in 2016 and we are growing rapidly with expansion into Singapore last year and further market expansion planned in 2023.

The IT Team

As part of the IT team you will be looking to add as much value as you can on a daily basis, working closely with the business and customers alike. We invest heavily in mentorship to ensure that being on our team leads to new skill development. Feedback will come in frequent but non-intrusive ways. We work with a lot of different technologies and languages and no day is like the previous one. You will not be expected to come with experience in all the areas that we work in, but a healthy dose of curiosity and willingness to learn is expected. We have an easy going atmosphere and prioritize having a good time at work. 

 

Who are you: 

You have 2+ years of experience in a software development role, a go-get and curious attitude mentioned above. We also imagine that you tick some of the following boxes:

  • Experience with React (React Native is added bonus)
  • Experience with Backend (We use Express, Postgres w. Sequelize)
  • Familiar with software development lifecycle and related tools and processes:
    • Git, SCRUM
  • Experience with JS & TS
  • Some familiarity or exposure AWS (We use Elastic Beanstalk)
  • Added bonus for familiarity or experience with the following:
    • CI/CD (at the moment we use Github actions)
    • Docker
    • Cypress/Detox testing
    • other languages (Liquid/Php/Python bigger plus) 
  • Comfortable in English both written and spoken

Those cover the majority of the work that you will do, but depending on your profile and how curious you are then there are always opportunities to branch out a bit.

Salary

Salary range / month :  HK$ 20k-40k
