Role Overview
The Technical Project Manager of ORII Enterprise will play a critical role in building the ORII Enterprise Solution. The ideal candidate will be able to extract a client’s requirements, own the development of the resulting features, and project manage multiple deployments.
This role is suitable for you if you delight in creating never-before-seen products, and thrive on building efficient new company systems free from legacy, perfectly evolved to your mission, and ready to scale as the team grows. You quickly grasp what clients’ teams struggle with, and translate this into compelling user stories using ORII. You draw inspiration working in a young, internationally recruited team of diverse academic and cultural origin.
The positions reports to the Head of Enterprise Solutions, and offers exposure to startup business operations, strategy, marketing, and business development.
Job Duties
- Recruit and manage the mobile development team (including developers overseas);
- Join the product manager on customer pitches;
- Help to convert customer needs into user stories;
- Collaborate with the ORII hardware technology team;
- Drive feature development according to release phases in the product roadmap, and do progress updates internally to the business;
- Manage ticketing (e.g. JIRA), track product pipeline and clear backlog;
- Document new features in release notes;
- Create mock-ups of the mobile and web UX;
- Upon receiving POs, manage customer tests (UATs) to launch the commercial deployment of ORII in a HaaS model, e.g. at a hotel;
- Perform ad-hoc assignments that arise in the ORII Enterprise business.
The types of features you will build include: Storing walkie-talkie style audio messages in the cloud, processing natural language to enable voice control of existing enterprise software (e.g. in hotels, retail etc), creating a web dashboard for showing team activity and analytics.
Requirements
- A team player with high level of creativity and passion for startups and product development. A degree involving software development is an advantage.
- Experience deploying software solutions to customers. A record of coding / publishing your own app to the App / Play Store is an advantage.
- Experience managing developers overseas, from interviewing / recruiting, to driving their deliverables on time and budget.
- Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage, as is experience generating statistical insights from audio / text data.

- Salary $20-$40K/month
