YOUR ROLE

As our Part Time Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for event execution, student liaison and providing a strong cultural immersion for all of our program participants. The Experience Coordinator will play a vital role in our Hong Kong program and will get the chance to experience the best of what Hong Kong has to offer, whilst getting paid to do so!


The Hong Kong Part Time Experience Coordinator is the perfect role for someone interested in working with young people and events. You will ensure that the student’s stay is social, welcoming and memorable. The role is integral to the feedback and success of the program and requires an enthusiastic personality with great communication skills. Whilst the role is part-time, you will be a key representative of the Hong Kong programme and will be vital towards the success of the programme.


The nature of the role means that both weekend and weeknight work will be compulsory.  You will also be likely to spend 1-2 days a week on average in the office to execute administrative tasks e.g. accounting and some marketing. Hours will be casual to start. Therefore, the role would be well suited to a university student or someone who welcomes flexible working patterns and enjoys a varied and outgoing role.

 

 

 


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Orientations & Events:

Prepare for our major arrival weekends and orientation on Saturdays in conjunction with the Full-time Experience Coordinator.
Create and host exciting weekly social & cultural meetups for participants that show the best of what Hong Kong has to offer!

Social Media & Marketing:

Capture engaging content at the events & meetups to be used for our social media platforms both in-country and for our global marketing team
In charge of promoting our Refer Friend and Alumni Ambassador program

Student Welfare:

Complaints management - use case study documentation and processes to deal with any complaints that are received and ensure that these are followed up and resolved in a timely fashion
Always be a sounding board for student issues, questions and feedback during events & social situations
Communicate closely with our Full-time Experience Coordinator to ensure that our team provides excellent customer service.

Office Admin:

Ensure that all accounting and documentation is recorded and kept up to date on a weekly basis
Ensure that events are run smoothly by organizing and communicating with our students beforehand
Prepare the welcome packs for each student before arrival
Dependent on company needs, some business development may be required

 

YOUR SKILLS

Excellent organisational & time management skills
Stellar professional communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Cantonese
An adaptable personality to manage an ever-changing workflow
Positive, outgoing, with the ability to work under high pressure
Process driven, conflict resolution experiences and skills are highly preferred
Effective problem solving & conflict resolution skills
Culturally sensitive
Curious, excellent organizational skills and knowledge of Excel.
Experience in customer service, marketing, and events is preferred
