Gaifong, which means "neighbor" in Cantonese, is a mobile platform piloting in Hong Kong that allows members to rent and borrow household goods from each other (e.g. BBQ Grills, camera lenses, cooking utensils), so that no one has to buy everything they need.
We are wrapping up our prototype testing phase, with a registered members base that has grown 10 times in the last quarter, to 4,000 members in HK. We have some initial funding, and will be raising our seed round in October.
Looking for talented engineers to join our vision, which is to create a world where no one has to buy everything they need. We realize that coding is a creative process that occurs in spurts rather than from 9 to 5; hence we adopt a trust-based, flexible working regime.
