This vision statement, created by the College community when the school was founded, recognises Discovery College’s belief that students must be independent, critical and creative thinkers, equipped with the skills, attitudes and values to contribute positively in this complex world in which we live.
Discovery College was established by the English Schools Foundation to serve the needs of the local and expatriate communities in Hong Kong, and the College opened in 2008 in a purpose-built campus in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. DC is now a full Years 1-13 (K-12) school with nearly 1,500 primary and secondary students offering the International Baccalaureate PYP, MYP and Diploma programmes.
Our students and staff enjoy exceptional facilities on our state-of-the-art campus. Our school community is diverse and represents a group of highly motivated staff and students from more than 50 home countries.
