JAY AHR is seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to develop innovative design concepts and manage projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Understand clients' requirements and develop design concepts that align with their vision and budget.
Create detailed interior design plans, including layout drawings, color schemes, material selection, and furniture recommendations.
Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure design feasibility and adherence to building codes and regulations.
Conduct site visits to assess existing spaces, take measurements, and gather necessary information for design development.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and project timelines, and manage projects within budget and schedule constraints.
Source and select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting fixtures, and other design elements to create cohesive and harmonious interiors.
Create 3D renderings, mood boards, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
Provide guidance and direction to junior designers and oversee their work on assigned projects.
Stay updated with current design trends, products, and industry advancements to bring fresh and innovative ideas to projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a portfolio showcasing your design projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting selection.
Excellent creativity and a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and contractors.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.
