If men and women really are different, what does that mean for 21st century sustainable organizations?
Join this interactive presentation and discussion facilitated by Dr. Paul Brown, Faculty Professor, Organisational Neuroscience, Monarch Business School Switzerland and world leader in the way he is developing the use of neuroscience in organisations.
An opportunity to network and meet a cross-section of professionals interested in understanding the science of human behaviour.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Modern neuroscience is showing us that men's and women's brains function quite differently - something that happens as part of puberty. What the benefits of the differences are has hardly entered organisational awareness at all, where women typically strive to be the best men they can be in a male-designed world of competition and hierarchy.
But it’s not as simple as male-female might suggest. There is also evidence that the brain itself can be typed as male or female, whatever the sex of its owner. So a twenty-first century understanding of the neurobiology of behaviour is beginning to create interesting new angles of observation on the question of whether women should be re-valued for the differences that they bring to business, and how that would work out in practice.
What would organisations look like if they were driven by feminine rather than masculine energies? This presentation raises that question and points the way to some of the answers, as well as exploring why it is that a hundred and twenty years of psychology has had surprisingly little impact upon organisations as a whole.
