With a persistent gender gap in tech, we are looking to help break the barriers facing women in technology and enable women with the confidence and skills to succeed.

Whether you’re beginning your career in STEM or looking to switch careers, this workshop is a great opportunity for you to learn the basics of data science and coding. We’ll explore the variety of career opportunities that await you and how you can be a part of driving change!

• Overview of Python
• Various applications of Python
• Exercise: analyse Netflix viewing data (and more fun exercises!)
• Q&A and Discussion: Career outcomes and tips to start your career in tech
   

Who should attend?

This workshop is open to all but we strongly encourage women who have applied or are interested in applying to our Women in Tech Scholarship to attend. Why not invite your female role model to join you and interact in the workshop together?

No coding experience required, just bring your laptop.
