Start-up Express Programme Introduction Workshop by HKTDC
On the 3rd of April, the HKTDC will give a brief programme introduction workshop explaining the Start-up Express programme and why startups should join.
Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is collaborating with Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) to organise a start-up programme namely “Start-up Express”. The programme targets start-ups with products or services suitable for the mass consumer market, as well as with a strong desire to enter the Chinese mainland market, or/and other Asian markets. Through a series of capability building, mentoring sessions and marketing activities, the programme offers start-ups with unique opportunities to learn, to grow and to connect.
The debut programme selected 10 winners at HKTDC Entrepreneur Day in May 2018. Since then the winners have exposed themselves to vigorous marketing activities and earned attention from investors, media and potential partners. We are delighted to announce that Start-up Express 2019 application is now open!
Winners of the Start-up Express 2018 include MAD Gaze, Farseer, 3DK Tech, Koofy and Wowwoo among other companies.
The Start-up Express programme consists of:
-Induction Workshop
Learning essential business skills and market intelligence.
-Power Meet‐ups
Meeting with the successful leaders in small, private settings or personal counselling sessions.
-Exploratory Mission to Start‐up Hub
Visiting high potential development Start-up Hub.
-Local and Overseas Trade Promotion
Participate in HKTDC’s relevant trade promotion events overseas.
-Extensive Media Coverage
Media coverage for the winners to enhance the brand awareness of the start-ups.
-Business Matching and Building Connections
Meeting and building network with potential investors or partners for future cooperation.
-Becoming Alumni of HK Startup Society
Benefit from a resourceful platform for the elite Start-up founders/co-founders.
This event is organized by HKTDC with Our Hong Kong Foundation as the official partner.
