2018 was a landmark year for technology and infrastructure development in Hong Kong. Notable achievements include the launch of the Faster Payment System (FPS) digital payment network and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link in September as well as the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge in October.

Julian Vella, ASPAC Regional Head - Global Infrastructure Advisory & Co-Head – China Infrastructure, KPMG China will share insights on the current state of smart city development in Hong Kong, Melbourne, Seoul, Shanghai and Singapore surveyed as well as key differentiators and best practices.

In addition, a panel comprising Julian Vella (KPMG), Elke Kornalijnslijper (CLP), Henry Louie (Wilson Group), Keith Cheng (Siemens) and Mark Lunt (JOS) will discuss how Hong Kong's smart infrastructure development compares with other leading world cities, best practices that can be incorporated into Hong Kong's development, and the next steps.
