About the speakers:
David Rosa is CEO and Co-founder of Neat, a fast growing Hong Kong based fintech company. David has over 20 years of experience in financial services. He spent most of his career at Citigroup, where he was the youngest managing director of Citigroup in Asia. He then co-founded the Asian arm of Integral Capital Management which he sold in 2014 to focus on FinTech.
Throughout his career he has been exposed to the extremes of managing teams across times zones in complex corporate environments all the way to agile business development for startups and related pivots to find product-market-fit.
Laurent Timmermans is an entrepreneur, consultant, and educator. Founder and Managing Director of Athenasia Consulting specialised in Business Planning, Company Setup & Maintenance, as well as accounting/audit/Tax in Hong Kong.
In his quest to support entrepreneurship, he has developed online courses delivered in 187 countries around the world and taken by more than 35,000 students. He has worked for more than 10 years in management consulting previously with Dale Carnegie Training and a local advisory firm that was a contractor of MTR. He is also going back and forth in academia, taking guest lecturer positions on the topic of international business, principles of economics, management and, organisation behavior. He earned 2 master degrees in management sciences and labor sciences and is currently carrying out Doctoral studies.
He is also a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific Sustainable Business Network active in the woman and youth entrepreneurship Taskforce.
