A business is successful only when it solves peoples’ problems and satisfies their needs. But first the business has to identify WHAT exactly are these problems and WHO are those people?

This is where Design Thinking, a people-centred approach to business problem solving comes in.

Design Thinking methods help to:
• Identify the actual problem
• Generate ideas quickly to solve it
• Focus on a possible solution
• Iterate rapidly before rolling solution

Workshop participants will be taken through various exercises to help them internalize the design thinking process and put it to good use in their businesses.

About the Speaker
Design Thinking Workshop facilitator Deepa Kamath has practiced design for 30 years. She is familiar with all the stages of design thinking and its practical use for business. She has extensive experience of teaching in design schools and in mentoring teams at work. Deepa is founder and business owner of Amplify, a Hong Kong based design studio.
