We The People is a global movement of citizens working to give over 4.6 billion citizens a voice. Our mission is to give people the power to step up and speak out. We’re using high-tech driven solutions to solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges. We conduct research, strengthen civil society and existing human rights mechanisms, and ultimately, we’re building an open blockchain platform that will give citizens the tools and resources to step up and be heard while remaining safe, secure, and, when needed, anonymous. We believe everyone deserves hope.

We were founded in the belief that no one should be afraid to do the right thing and that the Internet offers the most promising way forward for the future of citizenship. This is what we work for, every day. Join us in Hong Kong to understand what it means to give over 4.6 billion people a voice.

At 3:00pm a special screening of 'Black Code' will take place. This documentary examines how governments are manipulating the Internet to control their citizens.

This event is free and open to the public. While most of the event will run from 2pm to 6pm Hong Kong local time, the documentary will only be screened at 3pm Hong Kong local time. Come by whenever, really.
