So what is drop shipping?

In the standard retail model (even online) the store needs to keep inventory of the products it is selling, which is both more costly and more risky, as you tie up capital in products you don’t know if or when you will sell. Drop shipping on the other hand allows the store to skip the warehousing issue — when you sell a product, it is directly purchased from a third party manufacturer and shipped directly to the end customer (the actual consumer). As a result, you as a store or brand owner never have to handle or deal with any inventory. You have nothing to lose and everything to win!
