Women make up 50% of the world’s population, yet everything in the world is designed for the average man. Women are being neglected in nearly all aspects of life: they are misdiagnosed, mistreated, and treated as ‘small men’. They are denied appropriate healthcare, safe working conditions, and even infrastructure for childcare.
The recent rise of the FemTech revolution and interest in the real numbers has shown that there’s still a lot to improve. Developments within the FemTech space uncovered a lot of stigmas, conscious and unconscious bias, and the hope that women will be heard and seen as they should be.
