FastLane is pleased to announce that we are organising our first Startup Academy with guest speakers from HSBC and InvestHK!
Our Startup Academy is a series of 6 sessions which will cover a diverse range of topics to help you better manage your businesses, from business launching to data use for marketing. Over the next 6 months, FastLane will invite experts to share the stage and give you insightful and practical advice. To learn more about the topics, we're delighted to invite you to our first session at KR Space. Come and meet our guest speakers for the series!

For this session, Ada Lam (Division Head, Innovative Business & Ecosystem Partnership, Commercial Banking Hong Kong, HSBC), CY Lu (Senior Manager of StartmeupHK, InvestHK) and Alex So (Founder and Group Managing Partner of FastLane) will be the speakers for us. Ada will talk about business and digital banking solutions that catered to start-ups, to streamline their operation, build up credit worthiness and accelerate their business growth. CY will share about the startup ecosystem of HK, InvestHK’s services and what kind of services you can get from the HK government. Finally, Alex will share about everything you need to know about business establishments.

Ada Lam
Division Head, Innovative Business & Ecosystem Partnership, Commercial Banking Hong Kong, HSBC
Ada currently leads the Innovative Business and Ecosystem Partnership team of Commercial Banking HSBC, driving the bank’s proactive engagement with the innovation entrepreneurial ecosystem and support to startups and entrepreneurs in turning their business vision into reality. Prior to that, for more than 10 years she gained extensive experiences covering various commercial banking areas including commercial lending, international trade and cash management solutions. Ada holds a Bachelor Degree of Information Engineering and is a Certified Public Accountant.
CY Lu
Senior Manager of StartmeupHK, InvestHK
Chin Yung(CY) LU is the Senior Manager of StartmeupHK, InvestHK. He was born in Taiwan, spent his secondary school and highschool in HK and SG, before getting his bachelor degree in Germany. He then studied his MBA in Japan and worked a few years in China before joining StartmeupHK.
Alex So
Founder and Group Managing Partner of FastLane
Alex is responsible for the strategic development of FastLane Group. He is a fellow member of CPA Australia and has over 20 years of professional finance and accounting, corporate finance, and investment experience in the financial services and asset management companies. Alex held regional Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer roles in a number of global financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, a Hong Kong listed company and an Asian private equity firm. He is an investor for early stage and high growth companies.
