Energy Efficiency in Traffic Management/ Infrastructure & (Electric/Autonomous) Urban Mobility

Managing an ever-increasing flow of traffic in urban environments and minimizing its effect on the environment is one of the biggest challenges modern societies are facing. Mobility is just one aspect embedded in the bigger picture of interrelated systems in a municipality and to manage it effectively and to increase its energy-efficiency, all other components need to be considered simultaneously. To manage a system of such complexity effectively, along with relevant technologies, data availability and sharing is key to optimize a built-up environment, be it a city or a Megapolis like the Greater Bay Area.

The German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (GIC/AHK) Guangzhou and Hong Kong have teamed up – with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy - to bring a delegation of mobility experts from Germany to meet and discuss modern urban transport solutions with their counterparts in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Interested parties are welcome to register to the Conference on 22nd January 2019 at the Marco Polo Hotel Shenzhen and/or indicate their interest to meet with the German delegates at one-on-one meetings in Hong Kong by following this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Y9X98DJ
