The mist of uncertainty covers all over the global economy. Millions of people are in despair since the outbreak of Coronavirus as many of them have to accept severe pay-cut if not have their jobs lost. The foreseeable economic downturn creates a pessimistic atmosphere across all countries affected by Covid19. Without a doubt, it’s the crucial yet inevitable challenge to the human race in the 21st century.

However, challenges always coexist with chances. Flipping another side of the coin, various streams of AI Technologies have been immensely contributing to different industries in which favouring efficiency & scalability at a lesser expense. According to PricewaterhouseCoopers, AI and AI-related tech will contribute at least USD 15.7 trillion to the global economy in 2030. Therefore, AI & Economy are inseparable couples in the future world.

In exploring further, Mr Simon Squibb (serial entrepreneur and founder of Nest and Mettā) and Mr Lavine Hemlani (Founder & CEO of Xccelerate aka Vice President of AI Society of Hong Kong) are going to reveal the essence on how to succeed in the AI Economy in the post-pandemic era throughout a fireside chat.

Simon Squibb

Entrepreneur, Hong Kong based Angel Investor, CEO at NEST Investments and Founder of creative agency Fluid
