Are you excited about the new bag or shirt? How long have you been wearing your garments? How often and where do you shop? Do you know who made your clothes and where it ends up once you want to get rid of it?

Most people choose their clothes as disposable cutleries. Retail therapy or compulsive shopping is still common, especially during the Black Fridays and Season Sales. What’s the true cost of your jeans and jackets?

The fashion and textile industry is the third largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. With more entrepreneurs and bigger companies shifting towards circular economy, fashion industry faces new challenges and opportunities:

  • Shared responsibility over the lifecycle of products
  • Logistical and supply chains disrupted by the global pandemic
  • New materials and quality of plant (eco) leather, sustainable cotton
  • Human rights and full transparency of the labour market and costs

Join us for a 1-hour hybrid event with the top industry leaders to discuss how can the current fashion supply chain be dismantled and rebuilt to create circular fashion.

Speakers:
