We are happy to invite Mantian Hu, the Chinese University of Hong Kong to share her latest research on how to use data-driven answers to explain consumer behavior, which gives some interesting insights on a new way for data-driven marketing.
Speaker's profile:
Mantian (Mandy) Hu is Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also the director of the Center for Marketing Engineering. She was the winner of the 2011 Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Competition sponsored by Society for Marketing Advances (USA). Her research focuses on using quantitative models to study and explain consumer behaviors in industries such as telecommunication, automobile, e-commerce and FinTech. In particular, she is interested in the effects of social network, word-of-mouth, search and learning on influencing consumer behavior. Her research has been published in Marketing Science, Management Science, The International Journal of Research in Marketing and other leading international journals. She serves as Honorary Advisor of Hong Kong Digital Analytics Association and provides consulting services to marketing research firms, telecom companies and handset manufacturers. Professor Hu received BA in Economics from Fudan University and PhD in Marketing from Stern School of Business at New York University.

這次我們邀請了香港中文大學商學院教授 胡曼恬 來為大家分享如何用數據驅動答案去研究消費者的習慣。
胡曼恬現任香港中文大學工商管理學院市場學系副教授,營銷工程中心主任。她曾獲美國“Society for Marketing Advance 學會博士論文競賽最佳論文”獎。她的主要研究方向是運用前沿的實證方法進行數據分析和挖掘從而探索和解釋在TMT, 汽車,電商和FinTech等行業中的消費者行為,特別是社交網絡,口碑效應以及人際互動在營銷活動中的作用及影響。其研究成果發表於《Marketing Science》《Management Science》《The International Journal of Research in Marketing 》等國際頂尖營銷類學術期刊。胡教授擔任香港數碼分析協會榮譽顧問並為國內外市場研究公司,電信企業以及手機製造商提供營銷策略諮詢。胡教授本科畢業於復旦大學,於紐約大學Stern商學院取得博士學位。
