Dream Impact and Pad39 are collaborating to produce a multi-faceted mini-conference to explore how tackling environmental challenges at the supply chain could have a huge global impact. This evening event will delve into aspects of wider issues regarding successful integration of environmental practice within sound business structures.
We will begin the evening with a showcase of promising companies that combine various technologies including IoT and big data for farming, energy monitoring, waste management, fashion and other industries. Founders of each company will share in an ‘inspiration session’ how they balance financial and environmental sustainability.
A roundtable discussion then follows featuring speakers from Li & Fung, RVM Technology and Leatherteq on how technology is impacting the supply chains in the food, fashion and waste industries. The supply chain industry takes up two-thirds of the world’s GDP, and by replacing parts of it with sustainable alternatives, this roundtable can shed light on how startups in Hong Kong can create scalable global impact.
Come meet the people that are transforming the industries and find potential collaboration partners in both the corporate and social enterprise scenes.
