HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
We are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Head of Business Development to lead and develop the Company’s business and sales strategy to grow network coverage, drive business profitability and revenue solutions in a time of rapid growth.
This role will play an essential part in the growth strategy of Zolima CityMag. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of an innovative, fast moving company, on an exciting journey to further engage a loyal and passionate community.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Partner with the top management and develop business development strategy, budgets and forecasts in line with business objective.
- Identify and prioritize strategic operational initiatives to develop new multichannel revenue solutions.
- Oversee and monitor implementation of new revenue B2B or/and B2C online and offline channel solutions to deliver and surpass prospective revenue goals.
- Identify, develop and nurture relationship with business partners, patrons, sponsors, clients in the hospitality, life style, art and creative industries.
- Develop, implement, monitor revenue based solutions, such as but not solely limited to B2B sponsored events and B2C events that will ad value to the Company community in partnership with service and product suppliers in the relevant industries.
- Promote and close sales of sponsored content and events across all Zolima CityMag advertising and sponsorship channels.
- Use data to inform an evidence based business development and sales strategy and performance.
ABOUT YOU
- Passionate about start-up environment - driven by turning an idea into action and result.
- High level of knowledge and expertise in business model development.
- Proven record of project management experience from initiation to facilitation and execution.
- Able to demonstrate curiosity, creativity and entrepreneurial flair.
- Be ambitious, forward-thinking and proactive.
- Pleasant communication and interpersonal skills and able to collaborate with different stakeholders: service and product providers, institutions, external agents.
- Happy to work in a small team.
- A strong interest in and proven knowledge of the culture and art scene of Hong Kong is preferable.
QUALITIFICATION
- University degree in business, public relation, event management, communication.
- At leat 5 years of experience in a strategic project and sales management position.
- Native/ highly proficient English speaker. Cantonese is a plus.
Open to applicants with the right to live and work in Hong Kong.
Sales Manager position can be considered for less experienced applicants.
Equity negotiable depending on experience and vision.
