ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently looking for a talented product manager/ technical lead/ senior engineer who can potentially become our CTO to oversee the product development and to build and run a development team at Wonderkin. This person will need to have the vision to work with our Shenzhen based hardware partners and support the development of the technical roadmap.
To be able to exceed the role expectations, you should be success-driven, determined and self-motivated while agile, creative and forefront in action. It is important that you have solid exposure in product management, project delivery, data analytics, whilst any insights and experiences in IoT, hardware development, and turn-key mobility solutions certainly a plus. You should possess hands-on expertise in managing a diverse team and working with multiple functions. For successful role delivery, strong leadership capability, effective stakeholder management and excellent connection with business/technology partners are requisites.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee product enhancements and updates of our web and mobile applications and the integration with existing backend systems
- Ensure proper maintenance and enhancement of a robust IoT infrastructure for our next upgrade
- Build and manage the technical team to develop overall solution requirements including application definition, integration, security, and system and on daily operations including but not limited to maintenance works, technical and sustainability issues
- Collaborate closely with our hardware development partner in Shenzhen to conduct research and validation of the accuracy of the sensors’ data
Provide technical inputs on new projects and developments
- Collect, maintain, and manage requirements and traceability for IoT features, quality and compliance, patient data privacy, and cybersecurity to ensure the delivery of robust and compliant solutions.
- Conduct periodic review, update maintenance procedures and systems to ensure service quality and work standard
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Project Experience in project management and agile development using tools like JIRA, Trello, etc.
- Technical experiences: you have worked in the tech industry or in the technical domain and have solid experiences in technology implementation.
- Solutions mindset: you are naturally curious and are motivated by solving problems, however complicated or ambiguous they may be. Through innovation, hypothesizing, design and implementation analytically and quantitatively.
- Analytical skills: you can develop actionable insights from complex data. You have experience with data analysis, data manipulation, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Collaboration: you work well with other people and can handle engagement with multiple stakeholders from different teams, locally and internationally
Initiative and ownership: you manage and deliver end-to-end projects with autonomy
- Communication skills: you can communicate complicated insights and arguments both verbally and in writing
QUALIFICATION
- Degree in in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent preferable from a local university in Hong Kong
- At least 2 year of work experience in product management cycle, including developing or leading development of products and applications
- Extensive knowledge and experiences in software development in both mobile and web applications
- Familiarity with cloud-based service experience like AWS or similar public cloud service provider is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English communication in both speaking and writing
- Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
