The Trip Guru is the booking platform that connects travellers via group experiences. We are a young start up that recently graduated from the latest batch of the Betatron incubation program in Hong Kong and secured a pre-series A round to expand our revenues stream and the markets we serve. Currently, we cover South-East Asia, catering to English speaking audiences, and we want to go global soon.
The role
To support the business expansion, we require pro-active interns with good communication and organisational skills ready to learn and execute different activities related to the development of new commercial partnerships (sourcing of new tour providers and operators), sourcing of media partners (bloggers, influencers, key opinion leaders), and development of new online distribution channels (online travel agencies, airlines, hotels, etc).
Responsibilities
- Hands on planning the commercial strategy with the founders.
- Research and sourcing for new commercial partnerships
- Build and develop relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers.
- Creation of a Pipeline / database of prospects.
- Commercial Execution: emails, phone-calls, video-conferences.
- Participation in regular internal/external management meetings
Candidate Profile:
- Fresh graduates or undergraduates from University.
- Available to work full-time for 2 or 3 months
- Good communication skills (proficient in oral and written English)
- Proactive, motivated, and organized.
- Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate
- You are a team player and can communicate well verbally and in writing
- You work and carry out tasks independently, respecting deadlines
