The Trip Guru is the booking platform that connects travellers via group experiences. We are a young start up that recently graduated from the latest batch of the Betatron incubation program in Hong Kong and secured a pre-series A round to expand our revenues stream and the markets we serve. Currently we cover South-East Asia, catering to English speaking audiences, and we want to go global soon.
The role
As Production Intern, you will support the team in creating travel multimedia content and presentations (graphic, video and Powerpoint output), and manage website uploading for marketing and business uses in various channels. You will work with multimedia sources from our database and other external resources (e.g. our curators/bloggers’ contributions and Shutterstock)
A day in the life
The life of a small startup does vary a lot and evolves over time, but in the beginning of your adventure with us your average day will look like the following:
- For our tours, create video footages/movies, edit pictures, and upload multimedia content to our website
- Perform multimedia audits and contents optimization for our current tour listings
- Support Marketing to create multimedia content on all possible channels e.g. social media, website, emails etc. and for other marketing needs.
- Create Powerpoint presentations with business development and marketing colleagues’ guidance. .
- Organize the company’s media library, under marketing guidance.
You should be flexible to a start-up environment and should not expect strict manuals to do things.

- meet the deadlines and deliverables agreed with the marketing team.

Requirement:
- Fresh graduates or undergraduates from University.
- Proficient in Powerpoint (for both presentations and design), Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, Video editing tools ( Eg: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Movie Maker, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good communication skills (proficient in oral and written English)
- Proactive, motivated, and organized.
- Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate
- You are a team player and can communicate well verbally and in writing
- You work and carry out tasks independently, respecting deadlines
