Regional Head of E-Commerce
Job description
We are looking to add a Regional Head of E-commerce to lead our mobile commerce strategy and execution. The Regional Head of E-commerce will be part of the APAC Matured Markets Leadership team, working closely with the larger organization and reporting to the Managing Director.
The role will be leading our e-commerce business, responsible for establishing the strategy, driving the execution covering product, acquisition, pricing and fulfillment. By leveraging our unique distribution channel via our partner hotels, this leadership position will be expected to drive growth and profitability.
The role will be based either in Hong Kong or Singapore.
Requirements
- Oversee product development, owning the customer and merchant experience.
- Champion the development of our E-commerce capabilities; making recommendations for technology and best practices.
- Drive customer acquisition to deliver against aggressive sales goals.
- Responsible for merchant acquisition and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and partners to optimize margins.
- Manage the E-commerce P&L including forecasting, budget development, tracking and revenue generation.
- Partner with internal stakeholder including Hospitality, Advertising Sales, Regional Management to ensure alignment in merchandising, assortment planning, promotional and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal functional teams like Customer Relations, Operations and Technology to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5-8 years of E-Commerce management experience with P&L responsibilities.
- Solid knowledge of the E-commerce industry and technologies.
- Track record of conversion/sales success.
- Experience in hospitality and/or tourism industry will be an advantage.
- Strategic thinker and dynamic leadership skills.
- Should be a motivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedules.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Well-versed in understanding, strategizing around, and executing against web analytics.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
