About the role
Are you adventurous, keen and open on exploring opportunities around APAC and eager to work in a dynamic environment? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. We are offering a 2 year placement program at one of our locations across APAC. This position would require you to be permanently relocated to a Country around SEA, focusing on growing and running the daily operations at one of our gorgeous spaces.
This role suits someone with ambition - not necessarily with years of management experience but an enterprising problem solver with a good track record of generating revenue, daily operations and people management skills.
Goals and objectives
- Drive the business to achieve our goal of having the most welcoming and lovely coworking space
- Oversee daily operations of the Hive locations in your designated country
- Encourage the team to outperform across all the activities such as Events, Social Media, Sales and Customer Service
- Build a creative and collaborative community through events and personal interactions
- Develop great relationships with members
- Manage, maintain and creatively find opportunities to generate and increase revenue
Duties and responsibilities
- Solve escalated member-related issues to help foster a collaborative community
- Identify opportunities, design, and implement guidelines and best practices to ensure the best member experience is always delivered within the region
- Oversee events across all locations to ensure a good balance of different types of events and ensure a great experience for both Hive members and non members
- Obtain, analyse all locations P&L reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis and compare with previous months
- Prepare monthly Manager’s Report and share internally to relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure the country’s finances are up to date
- Identify, follow up and resolve any issues, such as cleaning, IT related issues, electrical equipment and so forth
- Manage all operations & maintenance to ensure the highest level of member experience
- Manage, inspire, support and guide your team to achieve set goals and targets
- Identify knowledge gaps, and where necessary train and/or arrange training with People Team
- Provide learning and development opportunities, and make recommendations to promote star Associates
- Hold one-to-one meetings to track individual performance on a monthly or quarterly basis with the People Team
- Hold weekly team meetings to delegate, recognise achievements, encourage, and keep the team up to date with any process changes
Experience and requirements
- University degree holder is an advantage but not a must
- Experience in at least one area - start-ups, hospitality, F&B. operations or any other relevant area
- A minimum of 3+ years experience in managing a location or P&L of a business
- Natural passion for creative business
- Outgoing and naturally good at engaging with customers
- Polished personal presentation and communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure and fast thinking
- Attention to detail and plenty of initiative
- Very strong commercial mindset
- Fluent in written and spoken English, any additional language is a plus
