Teach For Hong Kong is leading a revolution in social impact. As we strive to be the most iconic social impact brand in Hong Kong, we are looking for our first Communications Manager who can tell our story and vision to corporates, foundations, charities, and the general public
This person will build our communication capabilities from 0-to-1. S/he will drive our communications strategy across earned, paid and owned channels, foster media relationships, create PR engagements with our key stakeholders, and develop compelling bilingual content.
THIS PERSON WILL:
- Define, shape and implement an integrated, strategic marketing communication plan to raise the profile of Teach For Hong Kong across corporates, foundations, and the general public
- Cultivate and manage media relationships to ensure coverage of our work and issues of our strategic importance
- Bring a creative and analytical approach to the development and execution of communication campaigns and engagements with our key stakeholders
- Partner with content writers to develop a variety of content, including blogs, press materials, whitepapers and surveys to spread our message in media/press and digital channels
- Partner with Brand and Growth Manager to develop our brand positioning, image, and voice that reflects the core values and vision of Teach For Hong Kong
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for someone who can think big, break down and execute. He/she also has a growth mindset, is good with relationship management, and doesn’t mind being hands-on.
- Minimum 2 years of communications experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with PR/communications agency experience preferred
- A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an impeccable writer but can also be process-driven and rely on data to make decisions
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal communications skills
- Creativity and understanding of how to 'spot a story' and create compelling content pieces to engage and influence businesses and the general public
- Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to cope with ambiguity and the ability to work effectively and creatively
