This marketplace is the perfect go-to-stop for independent contemporary jewelry designers from around the world who want to sell and women who are in search of meaningful and unique jewelry.
Tanzire is implementing an Augmented Reality experience so that the customer can virtually try on the jewelry prior to purchase. Currently, we are collaborating with jewelry designers from around the world to convert pictures and 3D CAD models into an experience that customers can view in real time. With an aim of developing an Android mobile application for a functional prototype, we are seeking passionate mobile developers with suitable qualifications that will help us achieve this goal
Job Description
The ideal engineer for this role is comfortable working in a dynamic environment charged with exploring different Augmented Reality tools and libraries. You will be researching and developing an android mobile application that is able to load and render 3D jewelry models from all angles. This challenge will demand rapid experimentation and prototyping of the fastest and most reliable way of representing jewelry in real time. You will need a clear understanding of image transformation techniques and object detection.
Job Responsibilities
You will be focusing on developing an android mobile application capable of demonstrating how selected jewelry will look on users. We are currently developing a hand detection system that places a ring designed by a contemporary jewelry designer on the hands of the user. This app processes and renders the image information in real time allowing the user to rotate their hands and see how the jewelry looks on their hand. You will be working in a small and effective team with people from various background and obtain exposure to the working style of a fast growing startup
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin
- Have worked on projects in the android studio
- Familiar with 3D math, linear algebra, 3D geometry, graphics and rendering
- Familiarity or experience with OpenGL and OpenCV for object detection
- (optional but recommended) have experience with google AR kit or any similar SDKs or libraries
