Switchback is an exciting geo-targeted social networking app that enables people to create meaningful relationships during their daily commute. With an advanced algorithm that matches people on key interest categories, Switchback enables them to connect/meet offline by attending recommended local events based on their common interests. Unlike other competitor apps, we aim to eliminate the number of fake profiles with the use of blockchain technology.
A brief outline of who we are looking to support us in the following marketing strategy and activities
- Regular posting to our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Develop a blogging strategy for our website that will be linked to our social media platforms to draw traffic and engagement
- Develop graphics that are more appealing to our audience (infographics, etc.)
- Analyze our current ads for effectiveness and develop new ads/ with unique landing pages for A/B testing
- Develop marketing video content to be shared on our social media platforms and create a YouTube channel for these and other videos
- Do a press release for pre and post launch of the app
- Have weekly calls with the team to discuss ongoing strategy and coordinate with our team on implementation
List of activities required:
- Daily postings to Facebook/Twitter, and five posts per week to Instagram with unique posts aimed at engagement.
- Weekly blog posts aimed at growing our web presence and building us as the expert in the field. Royalty free image included along. This also includes working with our development team on app optimization to ensure the correct keywords or within the app for marketing on the app store.
- Graphic development of infographics and unique images to be used on ads, social media profiles, blogs and other areas for marketing purposes.
- Develop two press releases, one for pre-launch of the app and one of post-launch of the app.
- Facebook/Instagram ad management for increasing users, engagement, and views.
- Creation of several landing pages to attract our target audience to your website.
- Develop basic cartoon/kinetic text videos for marketing purposes, and building/growing our YouTube channel.
Additional services required include:
- Working with our development team on app optimization to ensure the correct keywords or incorporated within the app for marketing purposes on different app store platforms (Apple, Android, etc.). This is an aspect of blogging strategy since the content from the keywords will be incorporated into blog post and social media posts.
- Working with our development team on push notifications to increase engagement with current and future customers.
- Reaching out to Key Influencers to have them test the app, get their recommendations for enhancements, and if they are comfortable getting the word out to their audience. This is an aspect of the press release strategy discussed above since distribution is important for getting the word out and growing our brand.
- Through research from different groups, customer engagement, and reverse engineering the competition determine our unique selling proposition (USP) and develop our perfect avatar (persona) to market to going forward. This will help mold and craft the ongoing marketing message on the different platforms.
- Press Release distribution channels required that are international and regional, with the ongoing discussion on broadening that reach.
