Due to continuing business success and company expansion plans, blüüm is seeking to appoint a new Business & Channel Development Manager who will be responsible for generating and closing leads through both direct sales and development of partnership channels to achieve sales results.
You will have the chance to work with a range of insurance products and establish successful B2B, B2B2C as well as direct 2C sales funnels while collaborating closely with our tech team at The CareVoice where you will be able to provide essential market feedback. You will also gain experience with collaborating on new projects directly with our Insurance partners.
The role is ideal for candidates who are entrepreneurial quick learners, able to manage communication with different stakeholders and being excited about experimenting with different sales approaches & business propositions to provide the most optimal results.
You will be based in Hong Kong while working with an international team with HQ in Shanghai as well as colleagues in Singapore, UK etc.
What you’ll work on:
- Achieve quarterly sales targets through building and maintaining a healthy pipeline for different insurance products with support from the Marketing team
- Tracking lead sources and results in order to feedback to the Marketing team for optimizing initiatives and reporting
- Build up a strong partnership channel portfolio to achieve both B2B & B2B2C sales results
- Assist in managing and driving different projects in partnership with our Insurance Partners
- Assist in implementing strategic developments of our HK business to achieve the vision and roadmap of our growing & evolving business
Requirements
- At least 3+ years experience in B2B sales either in a startup environment or with a strong insurance background
- Experience in building partnership connections with different business in HK to deliver tangible sales results
- Proven sales track record with ability to deliver sales results on a consistent basis
- Resourceful self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit to take on extra tasks where necessary to achieve business targets with little supervision
- Strong communication, organizational and management skills
- Ability to use sales CRM tools
- University degree in any discipline
- Passed HK Insurance Intermediary Examination Papers I & II highly preferred but not essential (candidate will have to self study if they do not already possess these qualifications already)
- Fluency in both English and Cantonese. Ability to communicate in Mandarin with Mainland colleagues.
