Soundbrenner builds the world’s first wearable smart device for musicians. It’s the metronome of the 21st century. Wearable, smart and powered by vibrations. Soundbrenner combines hardware products with mobile and desktop apps into a holistic solution that empowers musicians to achieve true mastery of rhythm.
We’re headquartered in Hong Kong at PMQ in Central and hold an additional office in Berlin. We currently employ a full-time staff of 11. To date we sold and shipped over 10,000 units. We’ve raised close to $2 million USD in funding from investors. We were featured in the New York Times, Techcrunch, Gizmodo and around a dozen of other international press outlets.
Role description:
You'll help our marketing team develop and manage Soundbrenner's brand, including everything from social media to market research, data analytics, and creative strategy.
Here are some things you might do on a typical day:
- Help develop market research methodology and set up online surveys, one-on-one customer interviews, and focus groups with performing musicians.
- Help craft messaging strategy and come up with ideas for new broad-spectrum marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and respond to social media mentions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement a social media calendar that fits in with our broader marketing strategy.
- Conceive and create content for social media sharing including photos, videos, blog posts, and more.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who’s smart and hungry to learn. You don’t need to have prior experience in marketing, but you do need to have the drive to do great work.
You’ll also need to have:
- Authorization to work in Hong Kong.
- Native-level written English.
- Basic understanding in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere)
- Basic understanding of how Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube works
- Video filming and editing experience is a plus!
