The Role
We are looking for a high-calibre Marketing Intern who will support the development of comprehensive marketing plans for clients based on agreed objectives and deliverables.
You will be involved in the planning and execution of various marketing and digital marketing / social media initiatives, as well as content marketing.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new solutions-focused start-up consultancy with a diverse client base, from traditional companies to new technology and other start-up ventures. You will work alongside senior-level professionals and be involved in the whole marketing process from early planning all the way to results tracking.. You can expect to gain great insight into how a business operates and how to interact with clients, from pitching, planning, execution to deliverables, and you will also have the opportunity to build great relationships.
Full Time Internship : 2 working months minimum (between March and May 2017)
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and launching marketing / digital marketing campaign for our clients
- Take part in developing content marketing plans
- Support the weekly execution of the plan (eg EDM as well as day-to-day engagement on social platforms)
- Produce content (not limited to: blogs, articles, slide decks, landing pages, ad copies, infographics....)
- Ensure digital assets are updated (website, landing pages, event pages, calendars)
- Support ad hoc research projects to stay up-to-date with the business environment of Ripple Effect and our clients
- Play an integral role in supporting the marketing objectives of Ripple Effect and its clients’ business objectives
Requirements
Skills
- Able to work independently (you will be guided but should be responsible for your own deliverables)
- Strategic thinker
- Have a broad knowledge about today’s most impactful social media channels and their marketing tools
- A quick-learner when it comes to picking up new technology
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), WordPress, SEO, UX
- Editorial, video production/editing and knowledge of graphic design are pluses but not essential
Experience
Prior marketing internship experience a plus but not essential
Languages
- Fluent written and spoken English is a must
- Chinese language is a plus but not essential
Education
Studying for or Graduates of Diploma or Degree undergrad majoring in Business/Marketing & Communications/Digital Marketing
Compensation
Interns will be reimbursed for expenses incurred in the course of performing work
Other
Must possess valid visa for Hong Kong that allows for minimum two months' full-time work
