About the role
The Busines Development Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships within the regional healthcare and insurance network in efforts to grow the business. The role includes effectively promoting Prenetics’ personalized healthcare solutions, and supporting the Head of Commercial in the management of sales, marketing, and business development operations. The ideal candidate will develop new business and to maintain strong relationship with partner firms to achieve targets.
Responsibilities
- Maintain key relationships with healthcare and insurance providers while identifying, developing and implementing strategies to grow the business
- Grow customer base by developing and executing strategic sales plans and demonstrating a high level of relationship management skills
- Provide after-sales service support to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Generate leads among healthcare professionals and other designated decision makers to introduce company's genetic testing services
- Build strong relationships with physicians, dietitians and other relevant experts to develop the ongoing business
- Performing market analysis and keeping up-to-date knowledge of market activities and other clinical data
- Work with the Head of Commercial to develop and carry out business development activities
- Work with our marketing department to plan and execute marketing ideas and other promotional campaigns
- Work with our operations team to ensure smooth service delivery and strategy implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Sales, Relationship Management or Business Development
- Knowledge in healthcare / life sciences would be an added advantage
- Proactive, independent, and highly motivated with strong commitment to drive good business results
- Excellent communication and presentation skill in English. Ability to speak, read and write Chinese (Mandarin/ Cantonese) is an advantge.
