The Founding team are based in our Hong Kong office. It is not a requirement for this role to be based in Hong Kong, and can be from one of our offices in Hong Kong, Sydney, Manila, or working remotely.
Responsibilities
- Taking full ownership of the marketing function, including all existing marketing channels and pioneering new ones
- Evolve and execute a marketing strategy that will allow the company to hit its aggressive sales and revenue targets
- Planning and coordinating all marketing activities across the company, and across all 3 international markets
- Assisting with expansion into further markets
- Ensure Facebook and Google ads are spent optimally, exploiting new features and tools as available
- Optimising the site for best practice SEO
- Creating and executing conversion rate optimisation campaigns
- Managing a best in class email & CRM program
- Managing other channels such as Pinterest and Criteo
- Discovering and working with new channels as appropriate
- Leading creative ideation and execution with the Content Team
- Creating a culture of experimentation, designing and executing a range of tests
- Setting budgets, ensuring activities are executed within budgets
- Setting and tracking KPIs
- Providing regular and ad hoc reports
- Managing a small team, agencies & freelancers
Skills & Experience
- 4 years in a similar role, ideally with a pure play ecommerce company
- Experience working in international markets, and launching new markets
- Have an expert level knowledge of Google Analytics
- Have a good hands on understanding of all major digital platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, display advertising, etc)
- Experience with AB testing tools and processes
- Experience with setting up email programs, flows, and integrating CRM data with paid media channels, ideally using DotMailer
- Understanding the role of brand in marketing
