Miss Amara is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to develop, control, oversee supply chain logistics. The successful candidate will work closely with and support the senior management team & the founders.

This role is based in our Hong Kong office, where our founding team is based.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the logistics function in the business, reporting directly to senior management & the founders.
- Oversee the Logistics team, including providing support to the logistics admin staff.
- Manage logistics supply chain end to end, and ensure timely, safe, delivery of products from international manufacturers to our global warehouses and then on to customers, including up-to-date tracking and reporting
- Improve existing & develop new processes in order to create logistic efficiencies
- Create uniformity, standardisation and documentation across the business in logistics, and administration
- Build strategies to reduce costs & improve performance (measured through timeliness & customer satisfaction)
- Utilise & implement technology & software so solve end-to-end logistic processes
- Work closely with existing suppliers and service providers to ensure the
- Company is always getting the best rates and level of service. Actively seek out new suppliers and service providers to meet the needs of the business.
- Develop and execute logistics systems & plans including new market launches, standards, logistics, and ordering
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics including automation and streamlining of processes, and the most efficient use of resources
- Prepare reports for management including costs and efficiencies of logistics
- Track and resolve issues with deliveries
- Being a fast growing startup, from time to time, you will be responsible for other areas of the business including some operational tasks
Skills Required:
- 3+ years proven experience in logistics
- Previous experience in Ecommerce preferred
- Be commercially minded and passionate about organisational growth
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- A confident and strong-willed demeanor with the ability to successfully carry out negotiations with suppliers, contractors and other third-parties
- Ability to deal with large volumes of data, interpret numbers and apply learnings
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail - both written and verbal.
- Process driven with an appreciation for the importance of documentation and training
- Highly organised with the ability to work under high pressure situations
BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field preferred
- Computer savvy with the ability to quickly learn and master new systems
- Preferred hands-on experience with purchasing software or an ERP
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes across various areas of the business
- A go-getter attitude who is not afraid to pick up the phone and speak with external parties
