You will focus on integration testing and help the products teams to ensure deliverables have good tests coverage. This role will be established independently from the products teams to build a strong QA framework across all deliverables. You will be process oriented, and ready to take care of sometimes monotonic bug hunting and smashing!

What You’ll Do:
- Take ownership of bug tracking: identify bugs and communicate their business impact to facilitate decision-making by Product Management and Engineering.
- Build the workflow for continuously improving quality of our products
- Write integration tests and oversee semi-automated testing process
- Evangelize a test-driven development cycle that incorporates QA and automation testing of the planning and development process, to maintain the highest level of software quality, refine and implement QA processes, standards and controls.
- Understand automation requirement for different projects and write well designed test scripts
- Define strategy and roadmap and prepare a well-designed automation framework and tools to improve quality of deliverables and efficiency in the development release cycles.
- Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
- Work closely with Software Engineers to develop the best technical design and approach.
- Perform functional testing of features for release cycles, including creating/executing test cases, raising defects and maintaining defect logs
- Develop checklist for manual testing when it is necessary
Our Tech Environment:
- AngularJS/React Single Page Application development, MVC-based web architecture, RESTful APIs programming, API design, HTML, CSS, large distributed system and highly scaled request handling services (e.g. microservices architecture), WebServices, Docker, Ansible, AWS, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch
What Expertise You’ll Add To The Team:
- 6+ years of experience in in testing / automation QA / test management roles.
- Experience with QA on micro-service architecture (which we are using)
- Good hands-on and proven experience in delivering and supporting thorough QA testing processes.
- Has managed multiple project experiences in both functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience with testing automation using tools for testing and monitoring the functionality, performance and impact of scripts across different browsers, operating systems and devices.
- Experience with automated integration and UI testing
- Solid knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, LoadUI, QTP / UFT / TestComplete
- Understanding of NodeJS, Mongo, AWS, etc
- Experience in using Mocha is a plus
- Familiarity with at least one of the following scripting languages: Python/Javascript/Ruby.
- Strong command of UNIX/Linux monitoring/analysis tools.
- Ability to work within a dynamic and challenging environment.
