Role mission:
Streamline and optimize the production process flow and minimize the gap between production vs logistic vs end customer. Aim to significantly improve our supply chain management. This includes:
- Revamping the entire production process flow to improve accuracy, reliability and efficiency.
- Linking the dots from raw material parts to finished goods.
- Coordinating production workflow for all products.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and sourcing for alternative suppliers to maintain stability of our supply chain.

You will play an important role in :
- Building a strong supply chain for Lumos.
- Do so by:
- Ensure goods are produced on time for distribution and order fulfilment
- Be clear of lead and processing time of all raw material and WIP.
Develop broad principles in inventory holding.
- Decide and maintain the target level of WIP/raw materials.
Prepare Production Plan according to inputs from different departments.
- Prepare Production and Purchasing Schedule, determine assembly hours and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
- Coordinate production schedule with Contract Manufacturers.
- Monitor progress and troubleshoot potential problems, resolve them before it impacts the production.
- Prepare a regular production status report.
- Collaborate closely with the quality control and operation team to ensure smooth production flow.
- Ensure that all raw material, WIP and FG still in factory are properly accounted for
- Keep paperwork organized.
- Establish effective principles to hold our Contract Manufacturers accountable.
- Establish effective systems that move our inventories from 1 stage to another in an organised manner.
- Stabilizing and improvising our current supply chain management system
- Managing relationships with our Contract Manufacturers and sub-suppliers.
- Sourcing for potential alternative contract manufacturers to maintain flexibility and business continuity.
- Sourcing widely for each BOM part to maintain flexibility, business continuity and profitability.
- Evaluate our suppliers regularly for balance between quality, price and time.
- Other new, creative ideas that would overall benefit our supply chain management system.

To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- 3 – 4 years of professional experience as a production planner/manager, experience dealing with Contract Manufacturer, or factory/manufacturing facility in China.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and basic quality control principles.
- Experience in ERP (Enterprise resource planning) system/tool.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Google apps.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin - to deal with factories/manufacturers in China.

- Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and building things from the ground up
- Previous experience with Contract Manufacturing or manufacturing facilities in China.
- Any relevant qualifications in manufacturing/production, quality control principles, product management.
