About The Role
The ideal candidate is someone with passion and the skill set to communicate our brand messages and implement compelling visuals in the form of graphic design. He/she lives and breathes social media, and loves to express ideas through persuasive language and beautiful images (think #vsco).
The role will support our growth into new markets and expansion with new products on the horizon.
Responsibilities
· Work closely with owner to build creative content and develop strategies to create passion
and grow sales and interest in the brand.
· Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design tools such as Adobe Creative Suites and other pertinent software to create and execute creative campaigns both online and in print.
· Design an array of digital and print assets including campaign concepts, emails, banner ads, print mailers, catalogs, and e-commerce imagery.
· Create compelling visuals, writing content and being the face to communities on each platform, driving growth and engagement.
· Oversee copy write to ensure marketing materials are delivered in our distinct brand voice.
· Provide creative oversight on marketing strategy, video and social media executions with the goal of driving traffic to all platforms and increasing e-commerce conversion.
· Monitors and measures the success of community engagement (i.e. number of users, number of discussions, etc.). Identify, analyze and report on community trends and discussions to internal team.
· Engage directly with customers, community members and potential marketing leads via social media and email.
Ideal candidate
· An enthusiastic personality who is passionate about branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns.
· Solid academic background in a related field with 3-5 years relevant experience.
· A degree and work experience in Digital Advertising, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design or related field would be an advantage.
· Is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
· Have understanding of trends in social media, web and mobile technologies.
· Have great visual and verbal communication (especially written English). Copywriting experience would be useful but not essential.
· A go-getter who thinks outside the box and ability to implement creative concepts for marketing material (website, social media, newsletters, etc.)
· Is able to own a project from start to finish, working autonomously, but welcoming
feedback and collaboration.
· Have ability to prioritize and manage work while
adhering to critical timelines. Thrives on multi-tasking and does not get stressed under pressure.
· Preferably have art direction and photo shoot experience. Product photography as well as video editing skills would be helpful.
· Have a can-do attitude: No task is too small or too daunting.
· Have an eye and interest in good design.
