Overview of the Job
The Marketing team at LANE EIGHT helps set the brand tone across all touch points. We act as a creative force, sharing the fun and excitement of recreation and sport through advertising, brand strategy, digital engagement and product presentation. Using channels ranging from retail and pop-ups to social media, the Marketing team connects the fun and energy of LANE EIGHT to the hearts and minds of everyday athletes.
Roles and Responsibilities
As the marketing manager, you will be responsible for advancing the brand by leveraging the impact of relationships, culture, and sports to enable new and/or existing audiences. Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for creating brand awareness and excitement for LANE EIGHT.
Drive and execute seasonal brand roadmap, campaigns and initiatives
Work collaboratively with all brand and marketing partners such as our digital agency, press agency, creative partners, etc.
Manage timelines and workback schedules to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
Define KPIs for the marketing team and map a clear plan to achieve set goals
Track & evaluate marketing impact & campaign evaluation; sharing learnings with the broader team as opportunities to drive further growth
Manage the brand image, personality, content strategy and calendar across all touchpoints (email, Instagram, Facebook)
Stay connected with relevant consumer, competitors, influencer landscape
Conduct insights research via surveys, interviews, etc. to better understand our customers
Lead offline brand and marketing initiatives such as events, workouts and popups
Support founding team to drive the future brand strategy for the LANE EIGHT brand
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree holder with min 5 years of experience in brand marketing, or related experience in marketing strategy, marketing planning, marketing implementation, events which work within culture, social, influencer and digital marketing
Experience in the sports industry and / or understanding in fashion and culture will be a plus
Effective communication skills (verbal and written English mandatory, verbal and written Mandarin a plus), with the ability to simplify and orchestrate the team
A collaborative team player who can partner with, and bring together different teams
Takes initiative to proactively identify internal & external opportunities for the LANE EIGHT brand
Time management, multi-tasking & ability to prioritize work
Leadership skills to unite team under one shared vision
Creative & results-oriented, with the desire to seek & apply learnings
