We seek a passionate and talented individual to join our team as Administrative Assistant. This position will work closely with the CEO to provide critical support across multiple areas of the business including sales, marketing and operations. Duties will include helping to prepare sales documents and marketing communications, conducting research, updating sales data, and supporting operations.
The right candidate will have outstanding attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, juggle multiple responsibilities and work well under pressure, and will be an excellent communicator and team player. This position is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in startups/business and the desire to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sales offers, orders and invoices.
- Help prepare marketing communications including drafting and editing copy and publishing on company blog and social accounts.
- Update sales, customer and task information in company CRM.
- Conduct online research for sales, marketing and fundraising.
- Help set up and manage company systems including key compliance tools.
- Take meeting notes and assist with follow up actions.
- Communicate with company consultants, vendors and suppliers.
- Other time-sensitive tasks as required.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years relevant work experience.
- Past experience in a business or office setting.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Persistence, curiosity, reliability and integrity.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and messaging tools (e.g. Slack, Teams) preferred.
