Hush Home is a new lifestyle brand focused on sleep. Our core mission is to help our customers sleep better because we believe every great day starts the night before.
Our business has 4 core components:
- Designing the perfect night's rest. Based in California, our R&D team uses a consumer-focused design approach to design and test the most innovative materials to create the perfect mattress, pillow and sheets.
- Offering a delightful shopping experience. We drive sales through a content-rich, easy-to-use website as well as a unique offline retail experience (ie, pop-up bedrooms around HK).
- Improving the customer experience. We will offer worldwide shipping, a 100-night guarantee, and easy refunds. We will have multiple integrated touchpoints with the client: in store, livechat on the website, whatsapp, email, and/or phone.
- Offering luxury products at affordable prices. All our products are designed using 5-star hotel-grade materials -- and the best thing is, by selling primarily online, we're able to sell a luxury product at a fraction of the price of traditional retailers!
As an early stage company with rapid growth ahead of us, Hush Home is looking for a dynamic entrepreneur to join as our Business Development Manager. As the manager of our BD team, you will create and drive our business development strategy, from working with new digital partners to selecting our first group of brick and mortar partners to hustling for new B2B partners such as hotels, interior designers, and property agents. You will perform an important role at the frontline as our brand ambassador. We expect our Business Development Manager to drive a creative sales strategy, personalize his or her relationship to partners, and maximize sales, profitability, and partner performance.
Your Dream Job
- Oversee execution and management of digital and brick and mortar partner(s) including e-commerce brands, furniture stores, department stores, and specialty accounts
- Plan and execute strategy to optimize partnership and sales funnel and achieve partnership and sales objectives as a team
- Hunt for new B2B partners, pitch and close
- Build and maintain relationships with retail partners
- Own external launch of new partnerships; structure deals and manage budgets
- Partner with tech, creative and product teams to launch partnerships and optimize business performance
- Partner with marketing to develop and execute marketing initiatives with partners to ensure the success of the accounts.
- Identify, react and create new opportunities to drive business with an account
- Represent the Hush Home brand and core values
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 - 5 years business development or sales experience
- Fluent in English and Cantonese (additional languages, like Mandarin, are a plus)
- Able to maintain the highest level of product knowledge and expertise
- Experience negotiating key business points
- Great communication skills and passion in interacting with people
- Possesses a “no task is too small” attitude
- Self starter; comfortable in entrepreneurial environment
