The Account Manager will be allocated specific key accounts to further develop relationships with these strategically important large existing & potential customers. The Account Manager takes the relationship lead in the customer account planning cycle and ensures identified customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. The Account Manager reports to the Senior Manager- Strategic Accounts.
Responsibilities
40% Operational Inbound Sales support
Respond to inbound enquiries and requests from clients
Convert opportunities into contracts, Preparing Quotations
Support customer with delivery information
Connecting new clients with the project management team
Sharing competitive intelligence and client needs with product developers
Collaborating with Director - Sales to develop as well as refine sales tactics, strategies, and targets
45% Account Extension & Business Planning
Drive strategy for new Services, new Contacts within existing or new potential key organizations
To define customer story and next steps for engagement
To ensure key accounts have sales strategies in place
To address strategic gaps with regard to engagement and quotation interest
Collaborate with the Strategic BD colleagues to propose competitive frame agreements with potential clients
Foster referrals to other markets / customers
15% Account Meetings
Identify key customers and elicit input on Strength & Improvement Areas
Collect Feedback and drive Improvement agenda
Define action plan with Sales & Delivery on customer relationship
