Position Summary:
Act as a leader and driver in managing potential brand partners across the world. You will build strong partnerships and support the cross-border e-commerce efforts in growing the brand, business, and further driving market growth. The role will also have to work with multiple internal task teams to ensure the company's objectives on branding and sales are met together with the leadership of global expansion. You will work closely with top management team to further develop strategic expansion plans and understand where the growth opportunities lie within each market. This is a hands-on role and requires someone with strong entrepreneurial spirit and self-driven initiatives. This position will have a medium aspect of travel.
Key responsibilities:
Partnership Development
1. Partner with multiple unique local brands to establish an integrated product portfolio and sales channel to bring to our members
2. Ensures channel distribution message and objectives are in-line with strategic agreements and partnerships
3. Manages sales and cost KPIs for different partners across multiple markets
4. Forecast regional and industry targets, matching expectation with output, while also providing feedback from the conversation on how to improve the company’s business model
Plan Execution
1. Manages plan execution with logistics partners and internal teams to ensure smooth rollout of partnership models
2. Seeks for portfolio expansion in new industries and markets that might appeal to the existing/new members
3. Works as the point person to ensure internal teams are aligned and on track for KPIs set for each partnership objectives
Capability Development
1. Identifies execution and capability gaps with logistics and operations teams. Develops plans to address.
2. Leadership skill development to ensure the performance of marketing team are aligned to achieve the company goal
Qualifications:
• University Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline
Skills and Abilities:
3+ years in sales and/or business development in the merchandising or retailing market with a strong relationship in E-commerce development (particularly in US, UK or JP market). Additionally, prior experience in managing distributors and agencies is required.
