Breakthrough, a Hong Kong based startup that aims to Empower Everyone Everywhere through original content, consulting and via its ultimate productivity software, is urgently hiring for a seasoned and highly motivated Content Director.
We are looking for an extraordinarily driven Content Director who has a proven track record & work experience in content creation and is passionate about personal development & organization.
Ultimately, the Content Director will spearhead & oversee ALL content programs & content creation across multiple platforms & formats with the main purpose of inspiring and educating ambitious dreamers around the world to fulfil their dreams and become the highest leverage version of themselves possible.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy: Develop the company's overall content strategy centered around inspiring people to be the best version of themselves thru personal development and organization.
Content Ideation: Actively and constantly come up with fresh, new, original and purpose-driven content that is aligned with the company's vision, mission and product offerings.
Program Execution & Management: Spearhead and oversee the execution of all content campaigns including managing, auditing and reporting.
Content Partnership/Media Content Co-Creation: Proactively identify and build (and maintain) content partnership efforts with various possible partners & channels.
Thought Leadership: Spearhead the overall positioning of the company/brand's image and product offerings via highly engaging and educating content.
Team Member: Be one of the company's driving force in cultivating a strong and positive team/work environment and culture.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Psychology, or any other related field. A working experience of the equivalent is also acceptable.
Experience: Minimum of 5 (five) years in content creation (video production & editing, article writing & publishing, etc.) & distribution.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both in written & verbal form. Bonus points will be given to applicants who are fluent in another global language.
Leadership: A strong but well-balanced leadership acumen & have the self-awareness & humility to acknowledge both your own & the team's strengths & growth opportunities.
People Skills: Highly relatable & emotionally matured member of the team with the ability to engage easily with others & build strong & long lasting relationships.
Technical Savvy: A keen interest & competency in technology, technological tools & relevant softwares, as well as principles & methods.
