Project Engagement Manager
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Project Engagement Manager to join us! As a Project Engagement Manager for Blue Sky, you engage our corporate and institution customers to drive Blue Sky service adoption and demonstrate ongoing value.
Project manager at Blue Sky is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. You will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
You will be responsible for onboarding new customers during the launch, driving ongoing adoption, channeling customers needs to our team and facilitating renewals and expansions. Project Engagement Manager takes responsibility for cracking the clients' problems and presenting insights in a compelling way that convinces the client to take action. Key to these successes is learning to cultivate talented groups of people and collaborate with multiple teams. You will also collaborate with the rest of the Blue Sky team to innovate and improve our product and service to meet our client’s demand.
What You’ll Do
On Project Management:
- Support Company in managing portfolio of value creation projects and company revenue stream projects
- Being the main point of contact between the company and our corporate and institution customers
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
On Customer Engagement:
- Serve as the primary contact for the onboarding of new customers, the training of platform use for end users, as well as post go-live support:
- Drive retention and growth among our most valuable customers by understanding their business/organization needs, goals and helping them succeed with our products; Collaborating closely with Business Development team to support pilot customers, renewals, and expansion opportunities
- Enable successful roll-out of Blue Sky to customers’ users, including sharing and developing relevant creative assets, brainstorming ideas, and attending launches/sharings virtually or in person
- Delivering and communicating benefits for our customers, throughout the customer lifecycle via working closely with the data team; Maintaining a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption trends, sentiment, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement
- Identify opportunities for customers to act as Blue Sky advocates (e.g. Net Promoter Score results, testimonials, case studies, questionnaires)
- Build and maintain consensus with the client on objectives, critical issues, workplan, implications, recommendations, and implementation plan. Develop client commitment to recommendations and vigilance in implementation
- Represent the voice of the customer to provide input into product development, marketing and sales process and service improvements, e.g., Collaborate with the engineering and development team to set up or configure our software platform as per customers’ requirements and troubleshoot technical issues raised by customers, and prioritize product development needs
- Build senior level relationships with existing and potential Blue Sky clients; convert relationships with executives into enduring, trusted relationships that extend across multiple projects over time and generate referral/references for new business
- Communicate effectively with Company management and rest of team concerning the work, the client relationship, and team professional development
- Effectively manage and coach the formal and informal professional development of the rest of company members. Promote each member’s career growth through skill planning, coaching, and performance feedback

Who you are:
- BA/BS (MBA/Master good-to-have)
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Customer Success, Project Management, Account Management, Business Development, or another client-facing role
- Experience working with global clients or organizations
- Experience in consulting or a start-up
- Experience in working with multi-divisional customers and cross-functional teams (e.g. Business Development, Data analytics, Product Development)
- Entrepreneurial, proactive and productive; someone who instinctively knows what needs to be done and rallies colleagues to get things accomplished
- Articulate and compelling in his/her oral, written and presentation / communication skills with business level English fluency; engaging and concise – with interpersonal “presence”; adaptable across executive, technical and lay audiences
